  • How is the Wound Care Academy delivered?

The Academy follows a blended-learning model. The majority of teaching takes place online via live Zoom sessions, complemented by one in-person meeting held in November. Participants also have access to a dedicated Facebook group for ongoing discussion and peer support.

  • How often are the online sessions?

Online sessions are scheduled monthly and delivered live on Zoom. Each session includes presentations, case discussions, and opportunities to interact with faculty members.

  • Will the online sessions be recorded?

Yes. All Zoom sessions are recorded and made available to participants who are unable to attend live or who wish to review the content again.

  • What is the purpose of the face-to-face meeting in November?

The November meeting provides a valuable opportunity to deepen learning through hands-on activities, workshops, and peer networking. It also allows participants to meet the faculty and fellow learners in person, enhancing the sense of community within the Academy.

  • What is the Facebook group used for?

The private Facebook group serves as an informal communication hub. Participants can ask questions, share resources, discuss clinical scenarios, and connect with one another between sessions. Faculty members may also join discussions and share updates. While participation in the Facebook group is optional, it is highly encouraged. If you do not currently use Facebook, you may create a basic account solely for the Academy community.

  • Is there an opportunity to interact with faculty outside the live sessions?

Yes. Faculty members will respond to questions posted in the Facebook group, and sessions include dedicated Q&A time. You may also have opportunities to submit questions in advance.

  • Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes. Participants who complete the full programme will receive a certificate recognising their achievement and participation.
